Reactional Music’s Jesper Nordin and Luke Ritchie are heading to SXSW. Jesper and Luke will be part of the panel New Scores: Merging Music & Gaming.
Jesper will be discussing Reactional’s generative compositional music engine and tools that are transforming music in games. They are joined by the very wonderful Robin McNicholas from MARSHMALLOW LASER FEAST and Anne McKinnon, CEO of Ristband. Luke Ritchie will chair the panel at The Fairmont, 4pm local time on Tuesday 12th March as part of this year’s SXSW Music & Tech strand.
Music continues to converge with the games world, with major implications for creative practice, including composition and live performance.

The wonderful BPI (British Phonographic Industry) Insight & Innovation series continues at SXSW in Austin at UK House.
The creator of the Reactional Music Engine and modern classical composer, Jesper Nordin will join BPI CEO Dr Jo Twist OBE, Christine Osazuwa, Condense founder Nick Fellingham, Dmitri Vietze and others at UK House, Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol, for a series of panels looking at investing in innovation and music’s role in an evolving entertainment landscape.
Reactional Music will look at the opportunity for new personalised music experiences in games and how we are developing new types of music experiences, products and services in interactive and creator worlds.
