Reactional to support Audio Track at July conference that attracts 3500 games developers

Stockholm, Sweden/Wednesday 24th May 2023 …Reactional Music, the rules based music engine and delivery platform that connects the worlds of music and games for games developers, music artists and gamers, is to sponsor the Audio Track at Develop:Brighton 2023.

Develop brings together 3500 games developers from across the world for three days of conference and events in Brighton, UK. Other sponsors and partners include Playstation Studios.

Reactional is a rules based music engine personalisation platform and music delivery platform that connects music and games creatively and commercially. It recently introduced a Beta Programme for developers.

Reactional allows music to be modulated and procedurally created note by note in real time. It is directly controlled by game events or used to control the game itself. Reactional does this with a simple API.

Reactional’s platform opens up music personalisation, in-game purchase and a faster and more efficient method to create and prototype music for games developers.

Reactional is also a searchable music delivery platform with globally licensed rights cleared music from top tier production music and hundreds of thousands of popular commercial music tracks. It also hosts Reactional Flares and MusiMotes, which are 1 – 20 second pieces of music. Developers can also use their own bespoke compositions and recorded music.

David Knox, Reactional Music President previously spent 26 years at Electronic Arts, said: “Develop:Brighton is a wonderful event that brings together the creative minds that are at the very heart of games. It’s a great forum to continue our conversations with games developers, creators and music makers.”

Reactional Music’s management team includes leaders from music composition, games and music publishing including senior leadership roles in Sony Music and Electronic Arts.

In games the team has led or been part of the commercial, planning and marketing teams for leading gaming franchises including Grand Theft Auto, FIFA, Guitar Hero, Red Dead Redemption, Batman Arkham Asylum and Need for Speed.

Develop:Brighton takes place 11-13 July 2023 at Hilton Metropole, Brighton, UK

About Reactional Music

Reactional Music is changing the way we experience, interact with and enjoy music in games. It does this by enabling popular songs or any music and sound to be brought into the game to create an immersive soundtrack that reacts in real-time around the user. Reactional Music’s Engine reacts to every movement in the game. Reactional allows any music to be brought into a game and the entire game – visuals, music and sounds – to react live to that music, something that has not been possible before. Reactional opens up a new era of music personalisation and in-game purchase.

For gamers your favourite music can now be a part of gameplay, reacting to your actions and movements in your game or interactive experience, creating new levels of personalisation and self expression. For games developers, creators and publishers it unlocks music’s value in games with access to worldwide rights cleared music and a new era for creation, collaboration, partnerships and opportunity. For music rights holders it enables music to become an in-game purchase and choice for the first time. Reactional is a global music delivery platform that is device, service and system agnostic, with rights cleared music for developers and gamers, enabling scalable platforms and services for B2B and B2C markets.
